Cam Newton: The Future in Football & Fashion
Native of Atlanta, Georgia, NFL star, Cam Newton is on his way to Superbowl 50 this Sunday! The Carolina Panther is known for his leadership as a quarterback, offensive playmaker, and most of all his great energy on and off of the field. Every time Cam gets on that field his love for football is apparent by his “I WILL” mentality. Whether its Cam’s killer dance moves or those times he gives a kid a football after scoring a touchdown, Cam never fails to melt our hearts. On the other hand, Cam Newton is not only known for his athleticism and honorable character but his smooth looks before and after a game. Let’s tackle Cam’s five best looks!
First Down:
This fitted suit was designed by Cam, and created by Belk. It’s blue tint goes nicely with his washed-out blue V-neck sweater. Adding a contrast is a black and white tie, and white collared shirt. His shoes, which were created by Giuseppe Zanotti are a statement piece, making his outfit pop! The silver-toed shoes are metallic with a pointed toe. Finishing off the look is a grey three quarter length overcoat by Under Armor. The metallic in Cam’s shoes and grey in his coat are a smart choice because the colors are similar and complete the thought of this fresh, cool look!
Second Down:
The risks that Cam takes on and off of the field are always a success, just as these jeans. Just a few days ago Cam Newton’s $850 Versace jeans went viral and are sold out all across the World! Cam does it again, while on a flight to the West coast. These jeans are zebra print, along with gold décor, and stop at the ankle. Complementing the jeans are his shoes. Black and gold tie-ups, Cam keeps it bold. On the top are a white collared shirt and black necktie. His black, leather, and hooded rocker jacket with a black belt makes Cam look like a rock star, only he could make jeans so popular within seconds!
Third Down:
Cam switched up on us in this third look in a more unceremonious way. To start off, the light blue and white 76ers snapback with red and white lettering is different for Cam and shows that he can look classic in a suit or in a snapback and sneakers. Cam also has on a white and red-checkered collared shirt, which is underneath a red cardigan. On this red cardigan are words, “Love Me Do” in the color white. His jeans are a light washed out boot- cut. Cam accessorizes with his red watch, black bracelet and of course his smile!
Fourth Down:
In the words of Cam Newton, this ensemble is “Swagged Up!” In a charcoal colored suit jacket and vest, underneath is a white and red-checkered shirt and white, red, black and grey striped tie. On the bottom are black suit pants. This look works because the charcoal colored suit jacket and vest has a little bit of black. Black and grey can never do any wrong. Not to mention the red, giving this ensemble more color. He accessorizes with a red flower on the lapel and a red, polka dotted handkerchief. From the little things like the black buttons on Cam’s suit to the polka dots and stripes in the ensemble, Cam Newton has a nice eye for pattern. Experiment with different patterns, it will bring your look to the next level!
TOUCHDOWN!!!
This last look, was designed by Cam Newton and was previously exclusive at Belk for their spring collection. Cam’s radiant red blazer is accessorized with a white flower, light blue handkerchief, and black bracelet. Underneath this gorgeous blazer is a light blue and navy blue collared shirt. The khaki pants not only reels in this look but creates a preppy style. Well-done Cam!
Cam Newton. The 2015 NFC Champion, three time Pro Bowl (2011, 2013, 2015), First-team All-Pro in 2015, NFL MVP in 2015, NFL Offensive Player of the Year (2015), NFL Touchdown Leader (2015), NFC Passing Touchdown Co-Leader (2015), and NFL Rookie of the Year (2011) just to name a few. Oh, and one more thing did we say he could dress? Above all, Cam Newton is not a force to reckon with, his gift of football has changed lives all around the globe. More importantly, his grace and kindness has made him well loved. This six foot five, gentle giant is on the move. He has truly represented the ATL well, bring home the ring on Sunday Cam!
