The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Which Peach of the Bunch is Who?
With the eighth season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta well underway the passionate, successful, infamous bunch have not quite come back with all of the original peaches. All of the Housewives from the previous season may not be in attendance, but this season’s cast will not leave you unsatisfied. The familiar faces of Kandi Burruss, Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, Kenya Moore, and Cynthia Bailey are back on the screen, but who’s the peach that fell off of the Peachtree? That’s right, you’ve guessed it. The former star and original peach of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, NeNe Leakes has decided to not return to season eight full time, however she has made cameo appearances on the reality show. So who’s the new peach? The new peach taking the place of NeNe is actress and singer, Kim Fields. Kim Fields has fit pretty well with the girls thus far and have taken viewers back, as they recollect Fields’ previous work. The Real Housewives of Atlanta are loved by their fans because of their great personalities, and fashion that makes them separate from the rest of the other peaches.
Kolorful (Kandi) Peach
As seen on the hit television series, Kandi juggles a lot of things of her own. Whether it is family or her numerous businesses, Kandi Koated, and Bedroom Kandi, she’s never unoccupied. She’s even earned a spin off reality series named The Kandi Factory, Kandi’s Wedding, and Kandi’s Ski Trip. Out of all of the Housewives of Atlanta, Kandi has many sides to her. She’s a sweet soul but has no problem giving face when the time is appropriate! There are times Kandi can be playful and fun and other times when she’s all about her business. Kandi Buruss never fails to add some color to her wardrobe just as her lifestyle. In this look, Kandi is wearing a low-cut cocktail dress. Ruched at the mid-section, the shape of the dress flatters her curves, hugging her in all of the right places. The white is fresh and leaves a blank canvas for the colors on the piece. With the help of an array of colors such as: blue, purple, red, and fuchsia the dress has character, not only because of the colors, but the artistry. The colorful décor is contrasted with dark moments throughout the dress that makes the dress memorable. The shoes with this piece are gold, open-toed heels. These heels are designed with triangle shaped straps that wrap around the ankle. Gold offsets the dress and does not sit in the background but works as a partner with the dress as it adds to the array of colors. The boldness of gold, matches the boldness of blue, purple, red, and fushcia. Kandi accessorizes with a gold bracelet and hoop earrings. The makeup is natural, along with a gloss finish. The hairstyle is fun, as the curls are loose with a bounce. This piece looks like something a modern day Marilyn Monroe would wear, a Marilyn Monroe that loves color, that is! It is no doubt that Kandi Buruss will brighten up your day. Through her many gifts, personality and wardrobe its inevitable that her love for color exudes through.
Classy (Cynthia) Peach
The very classy peach, Cynthia Bailey tries her best to hold her composure in a sticky situation. Whatever the occasion Cynthia dresses like a Queen, as she has been her entire life! In the words of Cynthia, “#classyalwayswins.” After a rewarding career as a model in the fashion industry, Cynthia has begun a fashion school; called The Bailey Agency School of Fashion, mentoring young model hopefuls to work in the fast-pace, cutthroat business. After being a student of Wilhelmina Models in New York City, Ms. Bailey was inspired to help and to assist her students reach their dreams much quicker without jumping through all of the loopholes. This very loving heart is an example of how a Queen shall act, and she looks like one in this black on black ensemble. This tailored black suit is sleek and elegant. The double-buttoned blazer cuts below the breasts. The silk lapel makes the blazer standout against the rather matte ensemble. Underneath the blazer is a low-cut halter-top. The dress pants are loose-fitted and stops just at the ankle. Cynthia steps out in the black Christian Louboutin stilettos. These great shoes are open-toed with a single thick strap across the toe, with a single strap traveling up the foot to around the ankle. If this fabulous ensemble wasn’t enough, the sleek ponytail is giving life! With a middle part, and placed to the side, the ponytail polishes this look. As for makeup, Cynthia has a smoky eye, and heavy liner, and nude lip adding drama, drama, and more drama! Her jewelry choices are gold bamboo hoop earrings and a gold ring. Cynthia Bailey holds her scepter daily with pride, not ruling just anyone, but people she deems necessary.
Krazy (Kenya) Peach
It looks all peachy, in this photograph, as Kenya Moore decides to twirl on in every area of her life. The formerly crowned, “Miss USA” continues to remain in the limelight as she keeps her hands quite full. She has a production company; Moore Vision Media, where she creates films and Moore Hair Care that strengthens and makes hair grow not only long but also thick! She values healthy living as she is always working on her figure as seen on, The Real Housewives of Atlanta. It is no surprise that she looks amazing in this two-piece set of a long-sleeved crop top with slits and three quarter length skirt. It’s the perfect combination, of edgy and professional. With nude open-toed pumps, it adds to the peach ensemble instead of clashing with it. Her hair is kept simple, in a long, straight back pony, her makeup in silver eye shadow, dramatic eyelashes and peach lipstick. Kenya’s jewelry choices were a triangle shaped gold earring and a gold bracelet. The jewelry acts as statement pieces and adds to this bold ensemble. These style decisions made by Kenya are krazy, and we mean in a good way!
Powerful (Phaedra) Peach
The very astute Phaedra Parks never fails to be gracious and stylish. This southern belle is an entertainment attorney at THE PARKS GROUP, P.C., which she is the managing partner of. She is also a television show producer. She lives by the words of “Fix it Jesus” and keeps her family close. Despite what life throws her way she never skips a beat. This gold dress is rousched throughout the front section to the mid-section as it crosses to the front. The blue open-toed heels give color and character to this outfit, with bows on the top of the shoe. Her hair is styled in layers, straight with a slight curl at the ends. As for makeup, Phaedra’s eyes are gold with a bit of a smoky eye. Her lip is light pink. The jewelry is rings and a bracelet, the color of silver, and a black leather banded rectangular watch. Her silver earrings are long, with diamonds. This look is elegant, perfect for a business event or even a date.
Passionate (Porsha) Peach
This Princess Porsha Williams has sprinted into her career of entertainment. She not only stars in The Real Housewives of Atlanta but also is an entertainment news correspondent at “Dish Nation.” Williams has also begun a business in hair, “Go Naked Hair” as well as in lingerie called, “Naked Lingerie.” She is all about finding her own way, not being afraid to do those things that people say she never would do. What better ensemble to go with such a passionate peach, other than this beautiful red gown Porsha has on. This one-sleeved gown has a scooped neck and a strap crossing to the right, leaving the left arm sleeveless. As if the red wasn’t enough Porsha is also wearing leopard print open-toed stilettos. Her hair is in a short cut, full of loose curls. Her makeup consists of dramatic smoky eyes and a nude lip. As for jewelry, Porsha’s offset color is gold. With gold earrings and a single gold bracelet Porsha’s ensemble is a success, just as her future.
Keen (Kim) Peach
Keeping faith, family, and career the center of her life, Kim Fields makes her debut on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. This is not Kim’s first rodeo as she is formerly known as a star on numerous sitcoms, including “Facts of Life” and “Living Single”just to name a few. She currently still acts but has taken a role behind the spotlight as a director and producer. Kim Fields has already made a name for herself while on The Real Housewives of Atlanta as the knowledgeable one and also one who does not fear telling the truth. However, she never forgets where she’s come from and is very keen about what her future has to offer. Kim is wearing a silver dress that sparkles! This piece is sleeveless and stops just at the knee. Her shoe is a turquoise suede pointed toe. With a single band at the center of the shoe they show off the foot. Kim’s hair is in her natural tight curl, adding to this free spirit concept. The makeup is colorful, pink eye shadow and pink lips. Kim Fields will continue to shine regardless of her career moves!
Every southern belle brings something different to the table on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Their choice of style is a representation of who they are, as they express themselves through this outlet. Anytime there’s this many Georgia Peaches in one setting something will go down, so bring on the shade! Catch these lovely women on Bravo Sunday’s 8PM/7PM central.
