America’s Most Wanted Couple: Ciara and Russell Wilson
Two years ago when singer and supermodel, Ciara was spotted with Seattle Seahawks quarterback; Russell Wilson, America couldn’t be more invested in the couple’s relationship. The couple always appeared to be happy and seemed to enjoy one another’s company. However, both celebrities’ commitment to one another was put to the test once rapper Future claimed that Ciara did not allow Future to see their son, baby Future. Future made a remark stating that unless he went through lawyers after paying child support of 15k he could not see his son. The rapper also admitted to there being disagreements between Ciara and himself on their once-potential wedding. Ciara wanted to invite celebrities and the media, while Future wanted his friends and family from the hood to attend. Ciara publicly said that Future cheated which is the cause of the splitting up of the rapper and singer.
Future and Ciara still lived with one another after splitting up, which did not stop Future’s twitter fingers and sub-tweeting. He tweeted about Ciara concerning her unruly parenting. The singer seemed to turn over a new leaf, with her new man, Russell Wilson and has made a commitment from abstaining from sex until marriage. Russell said that God told him to lead Ciara, and to do so it was important for them to abstain from sex until the two are married. Ciara admits that this commitment is hard, but her and the Seahawks quarterback are able to connect on a deeper level, mentally and spiritually. No matter how many curveballs this couple is thrown they continue to strive for respecting one another and remain calm no matter how much drama escalates. The two announced their engagement on Friday, March 11th. Russell uploaded a video to Instagram and said, “She said yes! Yeah! Making this thing happen. My baby." In response Ciara said, “Yay! I’m so excited, God is so good.” Russell Wilson did not stop there with the romantic video but included a cute caption; “She said Yes!!! Since Day 1 I knew you were the one,” he wrote. “No Greater feeling… #TrueLove @Ciara” The “Body Party” songstress also tweeted, “God Is Good! Grateful For You @DangRussWilson. You Are Heaven Sent. The most sought after couple was spotted in these all white day wear ensembles, created by Lanvin. Ciara’s laboratory coat, handbag and thigh-high boots look simple but are elegant. Her middle-parted sleek hairstyle is just enough along with her choice of natural makeup. She wears a soft pink lip just for color, accessorizing with studded earrings. Russell Wilson steps out with a single buttoned blazer and white tailored pants. The black button on the blazer and black shirt underneath the blazer contrasts with Russell’s white apparel. If Russell’s look wasn’t clean enough he wears all-white sneakers. Dare to wear white after Labor day? This couple just broke all of the rules!

This couple is spokespeople for the famous saying, “less is best” as seen in this
ensemble. Russell decides to have Ciara as his best accessory in this look as he keeps it classy in an all-black piece. His beau jacket is just too spicy, as his lapel sparkles in black glitter and in silk. Russell’s black-buttoned shirt and semi-ripped black jeans makes this piece more casual. As for the songstress, Ciara never disappoints as she is in a gorgeous beaded gown that hugs her body. Her hair is pulled to the back in a sleek hairstyle. Ciara’s makeup entails a smoky eye and nude lip. The quarterback and singer turns heads despite how intricate or simple the look may be, this scores a 10 out of 10!
Purple Reign!
Killing it at The ESPYS this past fall, Russell Wilson may be known as the athlete but Ciara looks very athletic in her gown! Ciara gives leg and life in the Elie Saab gown and Jimmy Choo shoes. The pleated gown ombres from black to purple and has cuts beginning at the thigh. The belt creates definition separating her top and bottom. Ciara’s hair is pulled to the back and is styled in a middle part. Russell is in a purple suit and black collared shirt and necktie, coordinating perfectly with his lady. Crown this King and Queen because they are just too stylish!
Too Cool 4 School
These two lovebirds are just too cool for school as seen in their Ralph Lauren outfits. The denim on denim is working for Seahawks quarter back, Russell Wilson. He looks smooth in a blue jacket, plaid scarf, blue cardigan and blue jeans. The brown boots brighten this outfit as well as the plaid scarf, not to mention the all-black shades Wilson has on in doors! The “1, 2, Step” singer looks as if she has invented the denim on denim look in the long-sleeved denim shirt and skirt. Ciara’s boots are pointed toe, forest green tie-ups that have a bit of a heel. Her hair steals the spotlight, as it is styled, highlighted and straightened in the colors of blonde, brown and black. Her makeup is natural. If the couple were to wear this to school they would be seriously hated on!

In a Ricardo Tisci Spring 2016 collection Ciara works a bra less, sheer lace vest top and lace camisole. Ciara looks #unbothered to attend the Givenchy fashion show at Paris Fashion Week. The long satin blazer, loose pleated pant and pointed toe heels complete this look. Ciara’s hair is styled in a French braid and makeup in a natural look, with soft pink lips. Russell Wilson turned heads as well in a long black blazer, black top and slim-fit trousers. Designer Ricardo Tisci and Ciara are very close and have known one another for years. The singer and her now-fiancé were seated on the front row at the fashion show.
Classiness is Always Correct
The couple looks White House ready as they attended a dinner for Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and his wife Akie Abe. All eyes were on Ciara as she wore a gold rousched halter-top gown. Ciara’s gold gown spoke for itself as she chose to style her hair in a straight look and wear natural makeup. Wilson wore a black tux without a vest and a black bow tie. Classiness never grows old!
It seems as if this couple was made for one another as they have experienced a number of challenging negatives concerning, Ciara’s ex-fiancé Future. Russell Wilson seems to remain cool and collected no matter what is said about the songstress and NFL star’s relationship.
